From day one, you’ll work closely with Jessica DeSena to order business cards, signs, and other personal marketing items to ensure your brand is ready to make an impact. At the same time, you’ll partner with Pamela Johnson to set up and personalize your systems, ensuring that all information is accurate and up-to-date. She will also help with all marketing materials including Social Media! Additionally, you will either meet your mentor or your team lead to establish your next steps:

If you meet with your mentor, you’ll begin our 6-transaction program (program has additional cost), where your mentor will guide you through each step of the process, ensuring you have hands-on support and learning opportunities for every transaction.

If you meet with your team lead, it means you’ve chosen to join a team within the brokerage rather than operate as a solo agent. Your team lead will help you integrate into the team’s structure, provide guidance, and align your goals with the team’s strategy for success.

During and after you either complete the mentorship program or join, the office leadership team, mentors, and ALC will always be available for your continued growth.

Fast Track to Success Program

Designed to give new agents a competitive edge, this four-day intensive program is taught and produced by our mentors and is offered once a month every month rotating from daytime classes and evening classes to help best fit your schedule. It covers every essential aspect of building a successful real estate business:

Day 1: Business Planning

Learn how to set clear goals, create a roadmap for your career, and align your vision with proven models and systems from "The Millionaire Real Estate Agent" by Gary Keller. Understand how to track your progress and adjust your plan for maximum growth.

Day 2: Lead Generation

Master the foundational strategies for generating and nurturing leads. Learn about the importance of cultivating relationships, implementing effective scripts, and creating a sustainable pipeline for your business success.

Day 3: Working with Buyers

Dive into the buyer consultation process, how to set expectations, and provide exceptional service. Gain insights into negotiating offers and ensuring smooth transactions for your clients.

Day 4: Working with Sellers

Learn how to conduct a compelling listing presentation, set competitive pricing strategies, and market homes effectively. Develop the skills to manage seller relationships and exceed client expectations.

Ongoing Training and Development

Education is a cornerstone of Keller Williams Greater Columbus. We provide robust, ongoing learning opportunities to ensure you’re always equipped to succeed:

  • Post-Licensing Education: Ohio requires new agents to complete 20 hours of post-licensing education within their first year, and we’re here to guide you through the process.
  • Weekly Training Sessions: Covering topics like lead generation, market analysis, technology tools, and negotiation strategies, led by industry experts and ALC members.
  • Continuing Education (CE) Hours: Our office offers multiple free CE classes throughout the year, making it easy and cost-effective to stay compliant with state requirements. Every three years, agents must complete 30 additional CE hours to maintain their licenses. Our offerings ensure you’ll meet these requirements with ease.
  • Onward Bold Program: Elevating Your Potential

  • Pre-Licensing Education: Completing the required 120 hours of pre-licensing courses in Ohio typically costs between $1,500 and $2,000.
  • Exam Fees: The Ohio real estate exam costs approximately $81, and you’ll also need to pay a $60 application fee to the state.
  • Licensing Fees: After passing your exam, expect to pay around $200 for your initial license.
  • Board Membership and MLS Access: Joining your local real estate board and gaining access to the Multiple Listing Service (MLS) is essential for your career. These costs can range from $1,000 to $1,500 annually, depending on your board.
  • Continuing Education (CE): Ohio requires new agents to complete 20 hours of post-licensing education within the first year, and agents must complete 30 additional CE hours every three years. Many of these courses are offered free through Keller Williams Greater Columbus.
